We are using our love of dance to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer.
Join us this season for our second competition!
Paisley was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia after many months of distressing and life altering symptoms. It greatly effected her ability to do the things that she loved and the unanswered questions were very troubling.
When Paisley received her diagnosis, the life of both her and her family members changed greatly. One of those changes being that Paisley would have to stop dancing in order to receive treatment. This was devastating news for Paisley, as her work ethic and dedication to the sport is often unmatched. Her dance teachers, teammates, and fellow dance families were heartbroken at the thought of not seeing Paisley on stage that season.
The inaugural season of this event will be in honor of
Paisley Parker; the reason that we are spreading awareness for this disease and an inspiration to dancers everywhere to use their love of dance for good.
Childhood cancer effects over 15,000 families each year. In the Spring of 2021, Paisley Parker's family became a part of that 15,000. This event was inspired by the idea that we can use our passion for dance to honor those whose lives are so greatly altered by this diagnosis and to spread awareness for a disease that alters the lives of many families forever. Our hope is to raise funds to provide a little bit of comfort to patients currently undergoing treatments and their families.
As this event continues each year, we hope to help support individual families, donate to local hospitals and their staff dedicated to fighting childhood cancer, and fund the research so desperately needed to continue fighting this disease and finding a cure. Thank you for being here from the beginning of this journey!
